The 1977 Mix and match range was Sindy's first set of seperates that really co-ordinated with each other. Mix and match was born ! The range was in cornflower blue, deep pink, and golden yellow. Here's Lovely Lively Sindy in the perfect outfit for just relaxing at home, or popping round a friends for coffee. The top is a thickish nylon with scouped round neck, long sleeves and a tight waisted hem band. Giving the fashionable 'blousen' look. The trousers are wonderful fashionable flares in deep pink thick cotton and Sindy wears white tassle/crown front shoes.This outfit is just tooo cute ! The trousers actually came in a pack with the blue skirt, and the top came in a pack with the blue shirt.
The blue skirt and shirt ! A really smart combination of Crisp cornflower blue cotton shirt with great collar and rolled up short sleeve detail. A lovely cool shirt to wear on a hot summers day. The skirt is in thick cotton, the same colour as the shirt and in a very simple 'A' line style which just skims the knees. Sindy also wears her white tassle/crown front shoes with this 'outfit'. Perfect for the office or a summer shopping trip.
Well, we've 'matched'...so now lets mix ! The pink blousen style top with the blue 'A' line skirt has that really 'homely' feel about it, so relaxed and informal, you can just imagine Sindy wearing this while crashed out on the sofa listening to her radiogram, or maybe even doing some pruning in the garden on a bright summers afternoon.
A very casual look is achieved by popping the blue shirt with the pink trousers, I must say that thgis range was really well cut, notice how it really shows off Sindy's figure. Sindy's off to the Jubilee parade in this lovely little combination, a light, crisp cotton top in red, white and blue horizontal sripes, cinched at the waist with a red cord tie belt, a very simple design, almost like a tabbard in style.
